Residential Home Inspection
The Residential Home Inspection offered by Kennedy Home Inspections adheres to InterNACHI’s strict and detailed Residential Standards of Practice (SOP). This is a non-invasive, visual examination of the home of each of the following areas of the home will be inspected for damage and defect:
Air conditioning system
Insulation and ventilation
Fireplaces and solid fuel burning appliances
A Re-Inspection can be scheduled as a follow-up to a Residential Home Inspection. After the initial inspection, clients will be able to use the Create Request List (CRL) tool in their home inspection report to make a project list for the home. After these projects are done, a Re-Inspection can be performed to determine the quality and completeness of the repairs or upgrades.
A moisture meter will be used during the home inspection. This advanced tool is capable of measuring the amount of moisture in the home’s surfaces. This information allows the inspector to determine if moisture damage or mold is present.
A Pre-Listing Inspection is a great option for home sellers. During this inspection, we check the home to be sold for signs of damage and defect before it is listed on the market. With the information in the home inspection report, the home seller can repair and upgrade the home as needed before potential buyers see it.
